Christmas Superscrimpers

Morning all!  Apologies for the lack of blog posts, it’s been a busy time at the sanctuary.  In this poor economic climate we live in, more and more horses have been in need of our help.

I have been filming the Christmas Special of Superscrimpers, look out for lovely Xmas puddings, liqueur and lots more!  Saving money doesn’t mean not having Christmas luxuries.

About ladylesley

Surprisingly lifes not been easy. Ive ripped or broken most limbs just working with the sanctury animals but then Ive had access to all the wonderful plants and herbs growing freely. Ive fought battles against injustice and prejudice and Ive tried to help and empower people. At the end of the day I prefer animals to people and I love making traditional food and products from all that grows around me. If I can make it for free then Im even happier. Unfortunately I was responsible for the wine making and liquer making on the Christmas special so not the Turkey item. The programme is usually shown again so it may be worth recording it. Usually all recipes are put on the Superscrimpers website.
Im glad your Nan enjoyed watching the show and can you thank her for her support.

Can I have the recipe for the microwave xmas pudding.

    • ladylesley says:

just a cheap pudding and then add nuts, flour and what ever fruit you have and some brandy. Mix it up and then boil. You then have an aged hand made Christmas pudding and no one actually knows that you didn’t make it months ago.
